CONGRATULATIONS!  The 2010-2011 Anchor Bay High School Wind Ensemble has been chosen to perform at the annual Michigan Music Conference.  This is the highest honor a high school band can receive in the State of Michigan – the equivalent of an athletic team winning a state title – and we are honored to represent the Anchor Bay community at this extremely prestigious event.

For the 2010-11 school year, the conference will be held in Grand Rapids, Michigan, January 20-22.  The audience will be made up of band and choir directors, university professors and students, administrators, and friends and family – all of whom will be there to hear the ABHS Wind Ensemble perform!

The Wind Ensemble's performance is the fourth time in the past nine years that that an Anchor Bay School District performing ensemble has been chosen to perform at this highly esteemed annual event.  This is a feat rarely matched in the over 75-year history of the Michigan School Band & Orchestra Association (MSBOA).
