On Sunday, January 2, 2011 Jazz at Lincoln Center and Wynton Marsalis were featured on the CBS News “60 Minutes” news program. In exclusive interviews, Marsalis and members of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO) discuss the mission of Jazz at Lincoln Center – inspiring and growing audiences for jazz and its utilization in bringing people together around the world. The Emmy award-winning news program traveled with the JLCO with Wynton Marsalis on its residency at the Barbican Centre in London and a first time visit to Havana, Cuba.
