For the sixth consecutive year, Anchor Bay will be hosting the MSBOA District Band Festival. On Friday March 5, and Saturday, March 6, about 2,000 students, representing over 20 ensembles, will be coming to Anchor Bay High School to perform.

This offers us a wonderful opportunity to shine -- again. Last year's hosting was so successful that school band directors once again rushed to grab the spots available this year.

We're looking forward to another great festival, but it takes an army of volunteers to pull it off.  On behalf of the Anchor Bay Band Boosters, I'd like to thank those parents who have already come forward and to invite those who are willing to drop me a line.  Even if you can afford only two or three hours, we can put you to use -- as a parking-lot guide, loading-dock worker, concessionaire, guide, etc.  Another way to contribute is by donating some of the items that we are in need to run the concessions area - CLICK HERE for those needs.  Please email myself or Debbie Esser at esser54@comcast.net if you wish to help in this area.
