8th Grade Band is our top band ensemble at Middle School South.  These students have the opportunity to perform advanced level music that will be the most challenging for any middle school musician. 8th Grade Band students can perform in MSBOA Solo and Ensemble, Band Festival, Jazz Ensemble, Honors Bands, All-State Bands, Youth Arts Festival and many more amazing musical opportunities.

7th Grade Band is our intermediate band ensemble at Middle School South.  These students are beginning to learn more advance concepts that challenge their musical skills. 7th Grade Band students can perform in MSBOA Solo and Ensemble, Band Festival, Jazz Ensemble, Honors Bands, All-State Bands, Youth Arts Festival and many more amazing musical opportunities.

Symphony Band is our accelerated band course. Symphony band is also an "Audition-Only Course" and all students are accepted through a combination of an audition and the student's results on their playing quizzes throughout the year.
