DISNEY TRIP 2026!

Trip dates are May 13-17. This trip is open to ALL ABHS band and choir students, including colorguard and all family members. Band students do not have to be in marching band to attend! There is a parade for the marching band, but there is also a workshop for band and choir and it will be a worthwhile experience for EVERYONE! It is a once-in-a-lifetime trip where the students will make incredible memories! Please note that students must travel with the band to participate in trip activities.

Instrument Instructions

  • Marching instruments: ALL marching instruments MUST be brought to school on Monday 5/11 for rehearsal.
  • You will keep your marching band mouthpiece out of the case as we will have some loaner instruments for use in class on Tuesday. Make sure you pack your mouthpiece in your luggage after school Tuesday 5/12!


  • Concert instruments: All concert instruments except for Flute/Oboe/Clarinet MUST be brought to school on Monday for loading on the trailer.
  • Flute, Oboe, and Clarinets will be packed in student luggage – this can be in a checked bag or a carry on. However, if you play that instrument for marching band as well, make sure you bring it to class on Monday and Tuesday for rehearsal.


  • WIND ENSEMBLE ONLY: Since we are recording on Tuesday, you will be keeping your normal Wind Ensemble instrument at school – it will NOT go to Disney. If you have an additional personal instrument that can be brought on the trip, please bring it to school on Monday! Otherwise, we will give you a loaner instrument for taking to Disney. We will go over this and pass out instruments as needed on Monday 🙂
